Merino wool fibres are much thinner than ordinary wool fibres. Therefore, merino wool garments are incredibly breathable and fast-drying.

Wool is naturally high in nitrogen and water, which requires higher levels of oxygen in the surrounding environment in order to burn.
This is all about you, the Golfer and how you wear and care for your garment. Merino wool is a natural fibre, so wash and dry with care. Use non-abrasive detergents, warm to cool machine wash and line dry in the shade. Due to the natural anti-odour qualities of merino wool, a Dirbie garment can be washed less which significantly reduces water usage.
