    Because looking good on the green means nothing if we don’t keep it green.

    We’re not perfect — far from it. But we’re fired up about doing better. While there’s still a long way to go, we’re taking real steps toward more responsible and sustainable business practices. And giving back is just the beginning.

Norwegian Society for Conservation

Every Year, we donate to The Norwegian Society for Conservation of Nature (Naturvernforbundet), who works to protect nature and the environment so that human activity does not exceed the tolerance limits of our planet.

NSC work to solve a wide range of issues in Norway and protect the majestic & photogenic National Parks, i.e. in Lofoten and Svalbard.

Their focus is on conservation, climate change, energy and transportation.

Dirbie is a Supportive Member of Protect Our Winters (POW); a Global nonprofit that helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change. They are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations. Through their advocacy, they work to educate, register and turn out enough voters to shift governmental responses to the climate crisis.

Sea Shepherd

Dirbie is proud to be the supporter of Sea Shepherd's core cause in their protection and conservation of the world's oceans and marine wildlife through direct action.They aim to end illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, denegate access to poaching of endangered species, and protect marine wildlife like whales, dolphins, sharks, and sea turtles.

Be Sustainable

  • Here are our tips for caring for your gloves.
    We all have a part to play when it comes to sustainability and part of being a sustainable consumer is making sure you get the most out of your products. We are proud of the quality of our gloves and with proper care, they should serve you in your golfing adventures for years to come.

  • Hand Wash Your Gloves.
    And Keep them the far away from the tumble dryer. Dry Your Gear.
    If you’ve been out on a particularly damp golf mission, be sure to hang dry your gloves as soon as you get home to avoid material breakdown and mold.

  • Cut Your Fingernails.
    Sound silly? Hear us out! Just like how having long toenails will wear out your socks, having long fingernails will take a toll on your gloves. To get the most life out of your gloves, we recommend keeping your nails short to avoid wear and tear to the fingertips.

  • Only Buy What You Need: Limit Returns & Size Exchanges.
    We know that shipping our product from country to country takes a toll on our environment. Make sure to consider if you actually want this product and study the sizing chart before you purchase. If you have any questions about the sizing or fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Customer Support.

Here's what else you can do to help

  • Look under the hood. 
    Ensure your factories (or the factories of the brands you shop with) prioritize worker safety and pay. From businesses to individuals, there's always a way to get involved and do better.

  • Tax yourself. 
    Join 1% For The Planet, and commit to donating 1% of your revenue to environmental nonprofits. You do not have to be a business to do this. 

  • Estimate your footprint. 
    Use a 3rd party auditor like 3degrees or Carbonfund.org to estimate your Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

  • Offset your footprint. 
    Offsetting your historic carbon emissions and all future emissions surprisingly cheaper and easier than you think. Check out: Carbonfund.org and Bonneville Environmental Foundation.

  • Surround yourself with experts. 
    Join the OIA Sustainability Working Group and participate in bi-annual meetings.
